Nail Salon near Coogee & Port Coogee

Eight minutes inland from the beach — and salt water is harder on a manicure than most people realise.

Why Coogee locals choose us

Coogee and Port Coogee are beach suburbs, and that genuinely changes what holds up on your nails. Regular swimming, sand and sunscreen will lift ordinary polish within days. Cured gel systems — shellac and BIAB — handle it far better, which is why almost everything we book from this pocket sits in that category.

We're about eight minutes inland, east across to Beeliar Drive. It's an easy run from the beach car park or the marina, and there's free parking outside our door at the end of it rather than a summer scramble for a bay.

One piece of practical advice we give every beach client: a set that's fully cured is water-safe immediately, but a fresh soak-off leaves your natural nail temporarily soft. If you're swimming daily, book the soak-off and the new set in the same appointment rather than leaving your nails bare between the two.

  • Eight minutes inland, with free parking at the door
  • Gel systems that actually survive swimming and sunscreen
  • Soak-off and new set combined so nails are never left bare
  • Open 7 days through the whole summer season

Common questions

Will swimming ruin my nails?

Not if they're a cured gel system. Shellac and BIAB are water-safe as soon as you leave the salon and handle salt water and chlorine well. Ordinary polish is the one that will lift within days of regular swimming.

How soon after an appointment can I swim?

Straight away with shellac, BIAB, SNS or acrylic — they're fully cured before you leave the chair. Regular polish needs a few hours to harden properly, so plan around that one.

My nails have gone soft from being in the water — what helps?

A BIAB overlay is the usual answer. It protects the natural nail while it recovers underneath, and daily cuticle oil does more than most people expect. We'll look at the condition on the day before recommending anything.
